HyperWork Silentium is a new wireless mouse from an emerging Vietnamese brand, known for its accessible price, ergonomic design, and solid hardware.

HyperWork, a Vietnamese brand specializing in tech accessories, recently introduced a new wireless mouse called Silentium. The product boasts quality and features, and most importantly, an extremely accessible price for Vietnamese users, at just 590,000 VND.

The HyperWork Silentium mouse features a dominant black and orange color scheme

All information on the product packaging is in English, not Vietnamese

Despite being a product from a Vietnamese brand, HyperWork Silentium is still manufactured in China, likely through OEM or ODM

This is the only Vietnamese text on the product packaging

When purchasing the HyperWork Silentium mouse, users receive a USB-C charging cable and two 2.4GHz receivers (one USB-A and one USB-C)

And a fabric pouch to store the mouse when needed

This is the HyperWork Silentium mouse with a fairly compact design, prioritizing portability. The entire mouse body is primarily made of plastic. The product is available in only one color option: black

The mouse's ergonomic design provides an extremely comfortable grip

Due to its moderate size, the HyperWork Silentium is suitable for most users, including those with small or large hands

The right side of the mouse features a groove to support the index finger, preventing hand fatigue during long-term use. The mouse's height is also suitable, at about 41.5mm. This is also where the cluster of 3 function buttons is located, defaulting to Back/Forward and connection mode switching. However, during use, the reviewer often accidentally pressed the mode switch button instead of the Back button. If the manufacturer could move this button above the Forward button, it would be better, as users rarely need to use this button

Switching between connection modes is quite fast. When the mode switch button is pressed, an indicator light illuminates at the position of the switched mode. As mentioned, this mouse supports up to 3 connection modes: 2.4GHz with a USB-A receiver, 2.4GHz with a USB-C receiver, and Bluetooth 5.1 (essentially two modes, but 2.4GHz is split into two different receivers)

These are the left/right/middle mouse buttons, along with a quick DPI switch button. The product's name Silentium comes from its "silent" mouse switches, which can reduce noise by up to 90% compared to conventional switches. However, the type of switch used and its durability are not specified

The bottom of the mouse is where the on/off switch, optical sensor, and receiver storage are located. The mouse's sensor has DPI settings of 800, 1200 (default), 1600, and 2400. The mouse uses common PTFE feet for a certain smoothness when used on mouse pad surfaces

With 3 connection modes, the HyperWork Silentium mouse can pair with 3 devices simultaneously, offering excellent support for various operating systems like Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, etc. For Bluetooth, users simply pair the mouse and it's ready to use. The receiver works similarly; just plug the receiver into any device running the aforementioned operating systems, and it can be used immediately without much setup

Our experience with the Silentium mouse on macOS and iPad Pro showed excellent connectivity and compatibility, with virtually no perceptible lag during normal use like web browsing, drag-and-drop, and video viewing. However, when gaming, especially fast-paced games using Bluetooth, or if the receiver is a bit far away, noticeable lag can occur. Nevertheless, this is a wireless mouse designed for convenience, compactness, and high portability, and especially at an affordable price, so users cannot expect high-end technologies

Using it with an Android phone also works perfectly; just plug the receiver into the phone's charging port

According to HyperWork, the Silentium is equipped with a 300mAh battery, providing up to 300 hours of continuous use. When not in use, the mouse automatically turns off after 30 minutes

A plus is that the Silentium mouse does not use disposable batteries but charges via this USB-C port

The HyperWork Silentium mouse is currently listed at a price of 590,000 VND. This is a relatively accessible price for Vietnamese users and entirely reasonable given the product's advantages. The product is currently on sale for just over 400,000 VND, depending on the retailer
