Sketching the Setup Space Idea
HyperWork starts with the most basic characteristics of the industrial style, such as a raw space, dark, rustic colors, and furniture with robust, strong lines.
For the workspace, HyperWork chose a dominant brown-yellow color palette, featuring wooden items and black and gray devices. This is also how to create the “vibes” for the industrial style.
The large wall and floor sections feature deep brown and matte gray paneling and finishes, mimicking the raw, rustic, and unpolished design of industrial style.
Additionally, accessories like desks, chairs, and shelving units are chosen for their strong, angular, and distinctive character.
Getting Started with the Setup
HyperWork chose a wooden-top desk and the Airy ergonomic chair (black) as the focal points for the entire workspace. To create a mysterious and impressive space from the first glance, lighting setup must be a priority: a yellow lamp color that is captivating and bold, yet cozy and sophisticated.
Most importantly, accessories with materials and lines that suit the space. A minimalist wooden-top desk, without excessive embellishment. A 4-tier shelving unit with decorative items inspired by ancient European art, such as statues, fashion books, clocks, speakers, and essential oils. HyperWork also suggests the Atlas standing desk, which is available with wood-tone or black tabletops, suitable for users who need to work standing.
The HyperWork Airy ergonomic chair, with its multi-lined back design, brings a distinct “mechanical” feel when placed in the setup space.
Additional items such as a felt mouse pad, phone stand, and a clamp-on cup holder with an integrated hook are also placed in strategic positions, making the space streamlined enough, with sufficient breathing room, yet still impressive.
Completion
Inspired by and passionate about the industrial style, HyperWork created a workspace right in the studio, starting from the most initial sketch ideas.
By simulating the space and utilizing accessories and devices from its brand ecosystem, HyperWork suggests an impressive setup style that is both bold and strong, yet approachable and expressive of the owner's unique creativity.
